Black Coffee

Posted by Picasa5 1/2"x 5 1/2"oil on primed masonite
I am a big time coffee drinker. I like it black
and unsweetened and always
have a cup with me at my easel. Sometimes
I even dip my brush in the coffee. And yes,
I have been known to take a big swig out of
the cup after dipping the brush into it.
This cup and saucer is in the same set
as the salad plate in the last painting
"Vine Picked".

Sweet mother daughter moment ;)
Love the painting too. The red background. Beautiful bluey greens and yellowy greens in the cup reflections.
In answer to the question about having to ask permission to add someone's link. I don't think so. The blogosphere is all about connecting. I'm honored when someone adds my link and also, it helps ME to get back to some of the blogs.
You know how one can wander here ;)

Thanks for the link and your kind words. I am a coffee fan too. It's usually the first question I ask someone when meeting for the first time. If they're not, they're out.
